The Technology Mission on Cotton has been launched by Cotton Corporation of India to bring the entire gamut of research, development, marketing and processing of cotton under one umbrella in a mission mode to improve the production, productivity and quality of Indian cotton. 

This agriculture based information portal has been developed for the Cotton Corporation of India. CCI is the nodal central government agency for cotton cultivation, marketing, buying & processing in the country. This farmer information center portal was developed to disseminate knowledge and information on the various developments in the area of cotton cultivation as well as a mechanism to address the various issues like insect management, water management, suppliers, buyers of cotton etc for a farmer.

This project is developed as both online version and offline version. The offline version has been developed for 10 states in 10 different languages. The offline version uses MS Access database & an ASP based touch screen as front-end. The online version uses SQL database & ASP as front-end.
