Iced*CAD "reads" the parts list from the assembly bill of material residing in your manufacturing system database, pulls the individual component drawings and intelligently assembles the components "on-the-fly" in your CAD system using the program's existing API's.

Iced*CAD is fully web-enabled and works alongside your native CAD program's web viewer, so customers could even create their own custom assemblies and simply have your engineers sign-off on the drawings they create. 

Iced*CAD uses your existing CAD program such as Pro/E™, AutoCAD™, Solidworks™, Catia™ or Unigraphics™ so there is no need to upgrade or re-train your engineers in a new CAD package.

When Iced*CAD creates an assembly from the CAD component library, it also creates the instructions for that assembly for the shop floor worker to follow. The worker can print out the generated 2D drawing, with the included assembly instructions. Or, better yet, your shop floor worker can just mouse over the 3D component right on screen to see, in highlighted color, where it goes, how to assemble it and what order to follow.
